Sheryl Einhardt trained in the Detroit Metropolitan area and has been teaching for over 30 years. Since 1990, she has owned and directed Dance Expressions Dance Studio. She is also the Executive Director of Allure Dance Company. Mrs. Einhardt is currently serving as Vice President of MoreDances Contemporary Dance Company. She has trained many students that have gone on to professional careers. Her students have been accepted and received scholarships to the Joffrey Ballet, ABT, Joel Hall, The Collective and Peter Sklar's Beginnings Workshop. She has also had many students receive scholarships to colleges such as Wayne State and Western University for dance.  Sheryl has hosted master classes with Kirby Reed, Leah Howard from Tap Dogs, Leonard Sullivan from Hair Spray/High School Musical, Bill Janisse and many others.  In 2008, she Choreographed a production of "Chicago" in Mt. Clemens, Michigan.  She is a wonderful and caring owner.  She truly loves each and every one of her students.

Shannon Einhardt is Co-Director of Dance Expressions and the Artistic Director of Allure Dance Company.  Ms. Einhardt graduated from Western Michigan University with a BA in dance in 2007.  She has been teaching for over 15 years and currently coaches our Award Winning Competition Team.  Shannon became co-founder of Allure Dance Company in 2010 and is also a dancer in the company.  Ms. Einhardt won the Maggie Allesee New Choreography Award in 2011 for her piece "Psychopathology".  
Shannon also taught at TCH Dance Academy in Birmingham for 8 years, before resigning in 2017. Ms. Einhardt also worked worked with the SCS figure skaters for five years.  Shannon recently choreographed for a production of "The Drowsy Chaperone."  In 2008, she choreographed and performed in a production of "Chicago".  She was also a guest performer for MoreDances Contemporary Dance Company. Throughout the years she has taken many master classes which keep her up to date on all the new material.  Shannon has a high energy teaching style and a true passion for dance and the arts.
Susan Clayton has been on staff for over 20 years. She has danced with DDCdances since 1990. Past company work includes MoreDances Contemporary Dance Company, Harbinger Dance Company, Ballet Michigan, MI, Opus Dance Ensemble, NV, Dance & Company, Il, review shows in FL, NV, PA, as well in Japan and Italy. Sue has danced with Sigfried & Roy at the Frontier Hotel in Las Vegas, NV and with Carlton and Co. as a featured act in Jubilee in Las Vegas, NV. Sue toured the Caribbean as dancer, dance captain and company manager of the Norwegian Cruise Lines, Fl. Susan is an experienced teacher and has directed her own school, been on staff at many local studio's, Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp, Oakland Community College, and Oakland University. Susan has studied Vaganova Ballet through teacher's course work at Lake Michigan College, MI and at Nutmeg Ballet, CT.; has comprehensive study in creative movement at Wayne State University, MI; and full Dance Merit Scholarship (one year) at Giordano Dance Center, IL. Susan completed and is a certified registered RYT 200 yoga therapist through Yoga Medics in spine care, and Sun Moon Yoga. In 2013 Susan completed course work in Pedagogy For Different Learning Styles through NDEO, and Ballet Based Biomechanics and Orthopedic Analysis Level 1 through the Humanitarian Resource Institute. Other related studies have been in nutrition and anatomy, always trying to learn more to protect dancers from injury.
Brandon Koepsell has been on our Dance Expressions staff for five years  He will be teaching Contemporary Ballet to our Company Members.  Brandon is a native of Detroit, MI where he began his training at the age of 7 at the Turning Pointe School for the Performing Arts under the direction of Kelly Powers. At an early age, he had the opportunity to train at several summer programs with the American Ballet Theater and the Royal Winnipeg Ballet. Brandon attended high school at the Walnut Hill School, a fine arts conservatory located outside of Boston, MA. After graduation, Brandon spent time performing with Companie Coline in Istre, France where he was able to perform in several historic theaters throughout the south of France. Brandon also spent some time training in Los Angeles where he was able to assist choreographer Denise Leitner. While working with Denise he had opportunity to dance with actress Kate Hudson in preparation for her role in “Nine”. Brandon is a credited dancer in “A Very Harold and Kumar Christmas". He recently worked as the assistant choreographer on the set of “Oz, the Great and Powerful” where he was able to work with director Sam Raimi and actors James Franco and Mila Kunis. Brandon’s true passion is teaching, he has been training and choreographing for students of all ages for over 10 years in the areas of ballet, contemporary jazz and partnering.

Candace Hamilton has been dancing in the Metro Detroit area for over twenty-five years.  She is well trained in jazz, tap, ballet, lyrical and hip-hop.  She has been a part of our Dance Expressions family for over twenty years.  Miss Candace has had the pleasure of teaching at our studio since 1999.  She currently teaches our Advanced and Intermediate Hip Hop and Lyrical Hip Hop Classes.  Candace has a unique style and nurturing personality that the students love.   Her creative hip hop dances are always a favorite in our shows.  She has taught many Master Hip Hop classes for our studio summer workshops.  Ms. Hawkins credits include teaching dance to the blind. She made her Chicago debut, dancing in the MidTangent production of "A Midsummer Night's Dream".  Candace has an associate’s degree from Macomb Community College (MCC) and a Bachelor's Degree in social work.
Jocelyn Phillips is in her fifth year of teaching at Dance Expressions. She teaches our mini to intermediate levels in Pom, Hip Hop, Jazz and Tap.  Jocelyn is one of our Senior Dancers and continues to further her dance education by attending Master dance classes and workshops. She has trained at our studio for over 10 years in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Lyrical/Contemporary and Pom.  She has a high energy that will fully motivate her students! Ms. Phillips joined Allure Dance Company in 2011 as an apprentice and is now a full company member. Jocelyn is in her Second year of teaching dance to the figure skaters at Civic Ice Arena.  She truly enjoys sharing her passion for dance with all of her students.
Dianne Clouse 

Wayne Myles aka Breeze is in his fourth year of teaching at Dance Expressions.  He is our ALL BOYS Hip Hop/Break Dancing Teacher.  Breeze has a unique style to his choreography that mixes hard hitting moves with a smooth flow.
