✨ Dress Code Guidelines ✨

Be confident. Be comfortable. Be studio-ready.

🩰 Ballet

Required: Pink ballet slippers, solid color leotard, and pink tights. Hair must be in a tight bun. NO PONYTAILS.

Boys: Black dance pants, fitted white t‑shirt or tank, and black ballet shoes.

Dress code is strictly enforced. Students not following the code may be asked to sit out.

Suggested: Ballet Rosa leotards

💛 Tap, Jazz & Pom

Leotards and tights are required. Dance pants or shorts only.

No jeans, snap pants, or casual clothes.

Hair should be in a ponytail or securely clipped up.

💙 Lyrical, Contemporary & Modern

Leotards with convertible tights are required.

No long pants — only spandex shorts or knee‑length dance pants.

Footwear: Barefoot, Turners, or Apolla Contemporary Socks.

Outfit example: Modern dress (Apolla recommended)

💚 Hip Hop

Loose sweats or dance pants are acceptable. Tank or crop tops allowed.

Shoes: Jazz or hip hop sneakers.

👟 Shoes

Shoes vary per class. Check during registration to confirm what’s needed for your child.

Tip: Mark shoes & water bottles with your dancer’s name.

⏰ General Expectations

  • Arrive on time and dressed to dance.
  • If changing at the studio, arrive early.
  • Students more than 15 minutes late may be asked to sit out.
  • Dress code violations may result in sitting out that day.
