Sheryl Einhardt

Owner & Executive Director

Over 40 years teaching. Owner of Dance Expressions since 1990. Executive Director of Allure Dance Company and VP of MoreDances Contemporary. Trained dancers accepted into top institutions such as Joffrey Ballet, ABT, Complexions, and Wayne State. Known for masterclasses, wedding choreography, and award‑winning productions.

Co‑Director & Artistic Director

BA in Dance from WMU. 20+ years teaching. Director of Allure Dance Company. Award‑winning competition coach. Choreographer of “Psychopathology,” Chicago, and more. Known for high‑energy teaching, creativity, and inspiring students through national workshops.

Susan Clayton

Susan Clayton

Ballet, Holistic Ballet Yoga, Contemporary, Jazz, Yoga

Susan Clayton has been on staff for over 25 years. She has danced professionally with multiple companies including DDCdances, Ballet Michigan, and toured globally in musicals, cruise shows, and Vegas productions such as “Beyond Belief” and “Jubilee.” A scholarship student at Giordano Dance Center, she’s certified in YogaMedics, EasyFlexibility, and more. Currently teaching at Novi High School, Sue is developing Holistic Ballet Yoga — a blend of therapy and classical technique. Her impact on dancers spans decades of excellence.

Jocelyn Phillips

Jocelyn Phillips

Pom, Hip Hop, Jazz, Tumbling, Tap

Now in her eighth year of teaching at Dance Expressions, Jocelyn leads classes from mini to advanced levels in Pom, Hip Hop, Jazz, Tumbling, and Tap. She's an award-winning Competition Company Coach and has trained with us for over 15 years. Her choreography has been featured by Grosse Pointe North, L'Anse Creuse North, LA Dance, and more. Jocelyn also danced with Allure Dance Company and taught figure skaters at The Civic Ice Arena. Known for her high energy and motivating spirit, she inspires every dancer she teaches.

Candace Hamilton

Candace Hamilton

Advanced Hip Hop & Lyrical

Teaching since 1999. Known for her unique movement style and upbeat classes. Candace has taught visually impaired students, performed in Chicago, and made her debut in A Midsummer Night’s Dream. She holds degrees in Social Work and Dance, and brings creative energy to every class. Her hip hop routines are always crowd favorites.

Gabby Heabeart

Gabby Heabeart

Ballet, Pointe, Contemporary, Jazz, Hip Hop

Gabby Heabeart joined our faculty in 2019 and began coaching our competition team in 2021.A lifelong dancer at our studio, Gabby studied ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, lyrical, pom, and hip hop, competing throughout high school. She earned her BFA in Dance from Wayne State and is completing her Master’s in Teaching Artistry. Gabby is known for her compassion, energy, and dedication to student growth especially in ballet, where her passion shines. Students love the open, supportive environment she creates.
